ZIM FASHION WEEK
Zimbabwe Fashion Week is Zimbabwe's premier fashion event. Its' main purpose is to create a platform for Zimbabwean Designers to showcase their creations as well as to help rekindle what was once a thriving textile and fashion industry. Held at the end of August each year, the showcase attracts an assortment fashion enthusiasts, designers, models, buyers, corporate entertainers, exhibitors and fashion forward creatives from all over the world.

ZIMBABWE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
Established in 1895, and operating from the Exhibition Park, the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) is arguably the oldest and largest Society of its kind in Zimbabwe. With an estimated 800 000 visits to the Exhibition Park annually, the ZAS has established a solid record as a preferred facilitator and promoter of national agricultural development in Zimbabwe.

SOS CHILDREN VILLAGES
The work of SOS Children's Villages in Zimbabwe began in the 1980s when the former Austrian ambassador requested help and protection for the country's orphans.

HARARE JUNIOR COUNCIL
Harare City Junior Council(HCJC) is a non-profit organization made up of youths from Harare who are dedicated to provide the youths of Harare with a means by which they make known their opinions and feelings. Formed in 1953, Harare City Junior Council has over the years been in dealing with issues which include gender, health, HIV/AIDS, child rights, literacy, local government, orphan programs, peer education, sexual orientation and urban development.

CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD
The Convention on the Rights of the Child sets out the rights that must be realized for children to develop their full potential, free from hunger and want, neglect and abuse. It reflects a new vision of the child. Children are neither the property of their parents nor are they helpless objects of charity. They are human beings and are the subject of their own rights. The Convention offers a vision of the child as an individual and as a member of a family and community, with rights and responsibilities appropriate to his or her age and stage of development. By recognizing children's rights in this way, the Convention firmly sets the focus on the whole child.
